Commercial Vehicle MOT Preparation
We prepare your commercial vehicle for their annual MOT and understand how important it is to get your LGV, HGV or PSV through first time, every time.
Typically we will book your vehicle into your chosen VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Standards Agency) test centre well in advance to ensure a slot is available and prepare it for the MOT a few days beforehand to ensure it is ready. This will typically consist of a service (if required) and thorough inspection together with checks on the headlights and brakes to ensure compliance. Often any potential problems will of been noted and fixed in advance of this date during your regular VOSA safety checks.
Once ready, one of our engineers will drive your vehicle to the VOSA test centre or meet your driver there to ensure any last minute problems or adjustments can be rectified on test. Once passed, we will return your vehicle with your new MOT certificate! If your vehicle requires an RPC (Reduced Pollution Certificate) or LEC (Low Emissions Certificate), then this can be booked alongside the test.
Commercial Vehicle Servicing

We work with you to determine your service intervals for your LGV, HGV, PSV and commercial vehicles based on there mileage and use. For some this is at every inspection. Where as others will only get one before their MOT each year.
We use only filters that are supplied by the manufacturer or are to OEM specifications to ensure quality and reliability. We have access to a range of engine oils to suit your particular vehicles specification. Or can order in oil if your commercial vehicle needs a specialist one.
We are also able to provide servicing and repairs onsite at your premises by arrangement.

Our Commercial Diagnostics Unit utilises a guided system to provide us with all the information we need to diagnose today’s complex jobs.
It provides detailed information about error codes and ECU technical data, along with the ability to perform functional tests on a wide range of areas, and the calibration of components – allowing us to complete a repair from start to finish.
We invest heavily in our testing equipment and our team undertakes regular training. This means that we can usually identify any fault within your commercial vehicle sub-system and provide a suitable means of repair.
